GymMonster Is Now a Mobile App — Free Workout Tracker for iOS & Android

2026-07-03 · 3 min read

Big news for everyone who asked for it: GymMonster is now a native mobile app for iOS and Android. The gym tracker that started life as a Telegram Mini App now also lives on your home screen — same fast set-by-set logging, same routines and leaderboards, now with a full native experience built for the gym floor.

And no, the Telegram version isn't going anywhere. You now simply choose how you want to train: install the app, or keep logging inside Telegram with zero downloads.

Why a mobile app?

The Telegram Mini App removed the biggest barrier to tracking — the install. But plenty of lifters told us the opposite: they want a dedicated app. An icon on the home screen, native scrolling and gestures, and a tracker that doesn't depend on another app being open.

So now both exist, and they cover the same core promise: logging a set should take seconds, not taps through five menus.

What's inside the app

Everything that made GymMonster useful in Telegram, rebuilt natively:

  • Set-by-set workout log — weight, reps and duration in a couple of taps, with your full history one scroll away.
  • Pre-built routines — Push Day, Pull Day, Legs, Upper/Lower, Full Body, supersets and drop sets. Pick one and hit start. (New to structured training? Read our push/pull/legs guide.)
  • Training calendar — every session, PR and goal marked on a monthly view.
  • Goals — set a target for any exercise and check it off when you reach it.
  • PR charts — every personal record plotted over time, so progressive overload stops being guesswork.
  • Leaderboard — add friends with a short code and compete on streaks, workouts, hours and level.

Body tracking, front and center

Two features get a starring role in the mobile release:

Body measurements. Log weight, neck, shoulders, chest, waist, hips, biceps, forearms, thighs and calves — all in one place, all charted over time. Strength numbers tell half the story; the tape measure tells the rest.

Muscle heatmap. A visual body map that shows which muscles you actually trained this week, month or year — and which you've been skipping. If your weekly set volume is drifting all-chest-no-legs, you'll see it immediately.

Frequently asked questions

Is the GymMonster mobile app free?

Yes. The mobile app has the same free plan as the Telegram version: core set-by-set logging, a routine cycle, an active goal and recent history. Premium unlocks unlimited history, full analytics and Excel export.

Is GymMonster available on both iOS and Android?

Yes. The native app is available for both iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play), and the Telegram Mini App keeps working everywhere Telegram does.

Will the Telegram Mini App keep working?

Absolutely. The Telegram version continues to work as before — the mobile app is an addition, not a replacement.

What's different in the mobile app?

The feature set matches the Telegram version — workout log, routines, calendar, goals, PR charts, body measurements, muscle heatmap and the friends leaderboard — delivered as a native app with a home-screen icon and native performance.
